A discovery identifies the target and the particular part that was found.
Discovery — the game
Search for hidden targets on a board. Use what each discovery tells you to decide where to look next.
Discovery provides the connected program students investigate and develop during the course. Targets occupy several cells, so finding one part gives a player a reason to investigate further.
Different game modes change the information available. That makes the difference between a result and what you can conclude from it part of the play itself.
How students develop the gameDifferent information, different decisions
A discovery identifies the target and the particular part that was found.
A discovery identifies the target, but does not identify the particular part.
A discovery reveals that a part was found without identifying its target or part. A completed target is revealed when all its parts have been found.
